We are an open gym that also offers over 40 classes per week with some of the top coaches in the country. Our unique and innovative training philosophy allows for any person at any physical level to progress and reach their goals at a safe and manageable pace. Corktown Barbell

Corktown Barbell is a strength training class based on measurable strength gains in our 3 base lifts, squats, bench press and dead lifts.  Multiple training methods will be utilized from German Volume, Cube, Westside and Wendler. Each class will be structured with technique, form and progression. 60 minute class.

Bodyweight Warrior

Bodyweight involves pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, running and planks. Your body is your best gym.

Suspension Training

  • Duration 1 hour

Utilizing Suspension Training straps as well as your own body weight and many other favorites like kettlebells, medicine balls, battle ropes, etc, this class will get your heart pumping and your sweat dripping in a challenging, yet fun and encouraging atmosphere. We focus on strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination. Suspension training workouts are scaled so that any person, at any level, with any goal can participate.

Kettlebell Konditioning

The Kettlebell has a long and powerful history.  For over 100 years the Ketllebell has been used by a wide variety of athletes for specific strength and conditioning goals.  Led by a IKFF competitor and coach, Ketllebell Konditioning is tailored to fit your training. If you don't know what a Turkish Get Up is, Coach Michael will show you.  Conversely if you are training for a Long Cycle competition, we will have you covered.  

Detroit Tough

Our signature class will combine a little bit of everything our gym has to offer and provide you a "tough" total body workout.  Some classes may involve all bodyweight movements.  Other days you may find yourself lifting heavy awkward Atlas stones then pushing a football sled. 

Bricktown Bodies

Bricktown bodies focuses on core strengthening and conditioning. There is a different program scheduled for each class. All levels are welcome and modifications are tailored for individual needs.

Motorcity Muscle

This class is a triple threat. It's designed to build cardio, strength and lean strong muscle- while torching calories.  It is formatted in the Tabata High Intensity style: 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest between exercises. 

Every class is different, challenging and well suited to any fitness level.

Lifting, Conditioning, & Striking

This class is a high intensity, fast paced progression of strength building, cardio & conditioning, and boxing all rolled into one. Experienced beginners are welcome.

DT Power Lunch

Individualized Personal Training is available from any one of our fully certified coaches. Personal training rates are outside of regular membership, and membership is not required for personal training.

Strongman

Strongman is a co-ed class focusing on classic movements and implements found in the Strongman strength sport, such as log press, yoke, and atlas stones. Any level is welcome, from novice lifters to experienced competitors; weight is scaled to each individual's ability. Show up ready to work hard and you just may be surprised at how strong you already are!

Rivertown Ruck

Rivertown Ruck is a highly intensive strength and conditioning class. You'll find yourself doing push ups, sit ups, pull ups and a variety of other exercises while wearing a weighted ruck sack or backpack, and covering around 3 miles per class of the Detroit area. 

DT Butts & Guts

Train and tighten all areas of the lower body and core with this toning class. Workouts will focus on the lower back, abdominals, glutes and legs using weight and resistance. All levels welcome. 

Get Up!

Basic Training
